What to expect
Lake Country sits on the north end of Okanagan Lake — the quieter, less-developed stretch of shoreline with some of the best kokanee water in the valley. We regularly launch from Lake Country when the wind favours the north basin or when guests are staying in the Oyama / Winfield / Carr's Landing area.
The north end fishes slightly differently than Kelowna — cooler surface temps in summer push kokanee higher in the column, and the bays near Oyama Isthmus hold feeding fish.
