Mabel Lake Trophy Rainbow Trout Charters
A remote, mountain-ringed lake east of Enderby — cold, deep water that produces some of the biggest rainbow trout in the region. Year-round full-day private trips and custom multi-day adventures.
Off the beaten path
Mabel Lake sits east of the Shuswap — long, deep, ringed by forested mountains. Less than an hour from Enderby but it feels like backcountry the moment you push off the ramp. Light boat traffic, quiet coves, and big scenery for groups who want the antithesis of a busy summer day on Okanagan.
Who Mabel is for
Anglers and adventure groups who want a full-day private trip in remote water without the pressure of Okanagan Lake. Mabel charters are by request only and usually book 2+ weeks ahead.
What we target
Trophy rainbow trout, year-round. Mabel's cold, deep water and healthy forage base produce rainbows with occasional trophy-class fish. Trolling Apex plugs and large spoons on downriggers, working main-lake structure and creek mouths.
What to expect
A custom full-day (8-hour) trip, $1,200. Spectacular scenery, calm mornings, and the unhurried pace of a real wilderness lake. Artificial-only — no live bait. Bring layers — mountain weather changes fast.
